Camp & Create Re-boot!

The artist in residence program at Searsport Shores is back in full swing and expanded to offer more reasons to literally make your memories! The art studio and music stages are an integral part of our campground life…just look at the campground schedule. In addition to live music every Wednesday and Friday, each week we invite an incredible artist or two to take over the studio and share their passion by leading classes, walks through the woods and along the beach…all with the intention of inspiring you to get out of your head feel the joy of making.

There’s no age limit, no prerequisite skills or need to commit to a sequence of classes as long as you have the attention span for the project. If you just want to dabble, you’ll have ample opportunity at little or no cost. If you want a deeper dive, then look into signing up for a paid workshop over the weekend. I like to think that you’ll arrive on Sunday, spend three days just playing at the studio and falling in love so deeply with the experience that you sign up for the weekend workshop. No matter your level of passion, there’s room to join by yourself, with the entire family or call it a friends weekend that includes handmade treasures AND a cocktail around the campfire at the end of the day.
