Common Ground Fair
Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
We’ve moved into full Fall mood…the pumpkins are scattered in the flower gardens, the hydrangea have melted into that beautiful, creamy old rose color and Norma has cut the cornstalks for decorating the entrance fence.
My “to-do” list includes processing more garden veggies for winter than children’s painting projects.
And then there’s the Common Ground Fair…I was there when the gates opened on Friday at 9 AM and by 10 AM I had 3 beautiful sheep fleeces for my winter stash. I look forward to buying these fleeces all summer long and I may even spend a bit of this week dying the white one with our indigo…more later in the week.
In the meantime, here’s a photo tour of my Friday excursion…
