Friends and Honeymoons
A call came in the other night…the voice on the line was hesitant and started the conversation with “you’re going to think I’m a nut, but…” Now who can’t smile at that? She had a special request:
The happy couple (Lisa and Geoffrey) are honeymooning at your camping resort premium site by the ocean and we would like to do something special for them to make them laugh.
The bride wants to win a site decorating contest. Can you go to their site and say that they won “the best site decorating award” for being the most romantic? Please let me know if you need a credit card for a prize to give to them.
After this is done please convey to them that the Kellam’s wish them the Happiest Honeymoon anyone has ever had.
Oh, now that’s a fun way to start the evening. Pat was in the office and I promptly volunteered her to award the happy couple the most romantic present we have in the store…a hand-poured, locally made travel candle that smells like a dozen red roses. Pat is a wordsmith (check out her blog posts from last year) and quickly wrote the appropriate speech:
