Shore to Mountain Trails

New trails are being cut to connect the Shore to the Mountain.

Searsport Shores campground was originally part of a larger farm. Last year the purchase of 120 acres, situated across Route 1, restores much of the original footprint of the farm.

Steve and a dedicated work crew have been working for the past month to cut several miles of trial through field and forest connecting Shore to Mountain. The new trails will be open in May of 2015 for campers to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, bird watching or just another great way to enjoy nature.
